Climate Fresk är en ideell organisation med syftet att öka allmänhetens medvetenhet om klimatförändringar. Över 2 miljoner människor har redan deltagit i en Climate Fresk-workshop i över 167 länder sedan 2018.

 
Beskrivning
Climate Fresk är en  3 timmars workshop baserat på den rådande klimatvetenskapen.

Syftet med Climate Fresk workshopen är att deltagarna ska kunna tolka och förstå vetenskapen bakom klimatförändringar.

Baserat på IPCC-rapporten förklarar  workshopen varför klimatet förändras i nuvarande takt och konsekvenserna av dess störningar. Det ger deltagarna möjlighet att lära sig mycket på mycket kort tid, workshopen är anpassad för både nybörjare och experter.

Hur workshopen är uppbyggd:
Workshopen bygger på  42-kort. Varje kort representerar ett tema  med en orsak eller en konsekvens av klimatförändringar. I en grupp guidad av en handledare, ska deltagarna hitta orsak-verkan-sambandet mellan de olika komponenterna i klimatsystemet. 

Tillsammans så tar gruppen sig igenom hela klimatsystemet. Workshopen triggar diskussioner och skapar en dynamisk energi bland deltagarna. Stegvis ökar deltagarens  förståelse för komplexiteten och tillslut så har deltagaren en förståelse av vetenskapen bakom klimatförändringarna och dess konsekvenser.

Climate Fresk is a non-profit organization with the mission to raise public awareness about climate change. Since 2018, more than 2 million people have participated in a Climate Fresk workshop across over 167 countries.

About the Workshop
Climate Fresk is a 3-hour workshop based on up-to-date climate science.

The purpose of the Climate Fresk workshop is to enable participants to interpret and understand the science behind climate change.

Based on the IPCC report, the workshop explains why the climate is changing at its current pace and the consequences of its disruptions. It allows participants to learn a lot in a very short time. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experts.

How the Workshop Works
The workshop is built around 42 cards. Each card represents a theme, with either a cause or a consequence of climate change. In groups guided by a facilitator, participants work together to identify cause-and-effect relationships between different components of the climate system.

Together, the group explores the entire climate system. The workshop sparks discussions and creates dynamic energy among participants. Step by step, participants gain a deeper understanding of the complexity of climate change, and by the end they have a clearer grasp of the science and its consequences.
