Facilitator Training for the Climate Fresk

Hello!
You’ve already participated in a Climate Fresk workshop, either online or in person, and now you’re ready to take the next step and start facilitating?
Congratulations! This training is for you!

🚧 IMPORTANT 🚧: Participation in a full Climate Fresk workshop (3 hours) is a mandatory prerequisite.

✏️ TRAINING OVERVIEW

This facilitator training will provide you with all the information needed to run workshops independently, whether in private or public settings. You’ll also join the vibrant community of Climate Fresk facilitators.

☀️ TRAINING STRUCTURE

  • Quick round of introductions
  • Overview of the workshop and the association (origins, philosophy, objectives, etc.)
  • Simulation of the workshop’s reflection phase
  • Facilitation tips
  • Introduction to the tools available to support your facilitation (MOOC, training manual, facilitation techniques, etc.)
  • Presentation of the Climate Fresk facilitator community

💡 PRACTICAL INFORMATION

  • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
  • Equipment: Use a computer, a mouse with a scroll wheel, headphones or a headset to avoid echo, a functioning microphone, and a browser like Chrome or Mozilla.
  • Software: Zoom (video conferencing tool) and Mural. If you’ve never used Mural, here’s a short tutorial (3 minutes): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aHsxLnNlZw. You can also practice on this sandbox space (“view as visitor”).

  • Connection: As the training is online, a stable internet connection is essential for smooth interaction, along with a quiet space.
  • Please join 10 minutes early and ensure your setup is ready so the session can start and end on time.
🚧 IMPORTANT 🚧:
This training is not suitable if you aim to facilitate workshops professionally within your organization or for clients. For professional purposes, the Climate Fresk Association offers a 7-hour professional training format. For this session, facilitators volunteer their time as active members of the association.

The association does not provide invoices or certificates of attendance.
