Want to truly understand climate change without drowning in complex reports?
Join us at the welcoming Ukama Zentrum in Nuremberg for a free, hands-on Climate Fresk workshop.
The Climate Fresk is a globally recognized, science-based workshop designed to unpack the fundamental causes and consequences of climate change through collective intelligence. Based entirely on the peer-reviewed IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports, this 3-hour session turns rigorous climate data into a visual, collaborative card game.
Whether you are a sustainability enthusiast or simply curious about how the climate puzzle fits together, this workshop requires no prior technical knowledge—just an open mind and a willingness to collaborate.
How it works:
-
Step 1: The Puzzle (Building the Fresk)
- Working together around a table in a small team of 6–8 people, you will connect 42 cards to map out the causes, mechanisms, and chain reactions of climate change.
-
Step 2: Creativity & Reflection
- Take a moment to step back, process what you have mapped, add your own visual connections, and title your collective fresco.
-
Step 3: Debrief & Action
- A guided discussion to explore constructive personal, community, and systemic solutions to climate challenges.
Cost : Free of cost, open to all
The Ukama Zentrum is a not-for-profit and even though the event is free of cost, you are invited to contribute 5 euros per person for the running of the institute if you can. If not, you are still welcome to join.
