« The Climate Fresk » is a science-based workshop that aims to educate and raise awareness about climate change worldwide. Based on the IPCC report, it explains how and why the climate changes at the current pace and the consequences of its disruption. Using gamification and a set of 42 cards, it enables participants to learn the scientific causes and consequences of climate change. Collective intelligence takes you from one deck of cards to the next!
In this special edition of the Climate Fresk Workshop, we aim to equip policymakers and activists with the knowledge to understand the critical role of peatlands in mitigating climate change and reducing cross-border haze. Participants will:
🧩 Explore the causes and consequences of peatland degradation
🌱 Learn about nature-based solutions for restoration and sustainable land use
🔥 Understand feedback loops that drive peatland fires and haze
🤝 Discuss strategies to raise awareness and influence policy within civil society and find your superpowers and how you can play a role!
And who is it for: anyone who cares about the environment, clear blue skies and good air quality. Join us to connect science with action and drive meaningful change for healthier ecosystems and communities.
Refund will be processed if cancellation is requested at least 24 hours before the workshop starting time. W e might take photos during workshops for our social media, please let us know if you wish not to be part of such photos.
