Description
Are you concerned about our changing climate?

Did the intense weather events and many wildfires this past year make you anxious and wonder what you could do to help?

Are you overwhelmed with the amount of climate information available online, and are in search of robust research-backed information?

Join us for a Climate Fresk!

The Climate Fresk is a highly collaborative and engaging educational tool based on the conclusions of the IPCC report. Through a series of creative and collaborative exercises, participants learn the basics of climate change and its impacts, and are empowered to drive change in their personal lives and in their communities.

Conceived in France and based on the science of the IPCC 6th Assessment Report, this workshop has been facilitated for over 2 million people worldwide, in over 50 countries and in over 50 languages. Nearly half the participants (80,000+) have gone on to become Climate Fresk facilitators.

PHASES OF THE WORKSHOP :

  1. Introductions and ice-breakers (fun ice-breakers, we promise!)
  2. Building the climate collage, guided by your facilitator
  3. Reflection and check-in
  4. Discussion, with a focus on individual and collective climate action
Big thanks to the Ignatius Jesuit Center for generously donating space! Organized in Guelph in association with the Guelph Climate Action Network.
