📣 Calling all Woodley residents
Climate Fresk, a climate game that's taken the world by storm, is coming to Woodley as part of Climate Action Week organised by Wokingham Borough Council and Woodley Town Council.
Come along to the first-ever community-led Climate Fresk workshop in Woodley on Saturday 23th November between 10am and 1pm at the Oakwood Centre and experience a collaborative, creative, and FUN workshop to learn about climate change.
By the end of this 3-hour game, you'll understand the cause and consequences of climate change, meet local folks, and build up your confidence on the subject. Climate Fresk is perfect for beginners and experts alike.
Be the first in Woodley to play the game but join over 1.5 million players from across 50 countries.
So come along to make friends, enjoy some delicious cakes from the cafe and learn something new by booking your spot for free today.
What to expect on the day:
- You will be welcomed by your trained facilitators Elizabeth Corse and Rosie Deane
- You will play with 42 cards and order them in cause-effect relationships to create your own fresco (painting) all about climate change, whilst working collaboratively with a team of 4 to 8 players.
- You will be invited to reflect on what you’ve learnt and discuss what you can do individually and collectively.
Remember, you don't need to bring anything with you except your joy, energy and willingness to learn! Do make sure to arrive on time so we can start the workshop with the whole group, and plan to stay for the full 3 hours.
