Description
Hello Reading!
Are you ready to join a scientific, collaborative and creative workshop to learn about climate change in a way that's not only informative but also fun?
Then come along to the first ever community-led Climate Fresk workshop on Tuesday 22nd August 2023 at 6pm, hosted at Reading Quakers.
By the end of this 3-hour game, you'll not only understand the cause and consequences of climate change, but you'll also make friends whilst doing it.
Open to anyone who can get themselves to Reading, Climate Fresk is perfect for beginners and experts alike, as it has been played by over a million people in over 50 countries.
So come along and meet other curious minds here in Reading.
Yours sustainably,
Elizabeth
What to expect on the day:
- You will be welcomed by your trained facilitators Elizabeth Corse.
- You will play with 42 cards and order them in cause-effect relationships to create your very own fresco (painting) all about climate change, whilst working collaboratively with a team of 4 to 8 players.
- A trained facilitator will guide you and provide additional insights, and there will be time to take a step back and reflect on what you’ve learnt and how to act individually and collectively.
Remember, you don't need to bring anything with you except your joy, energy and willingness to learn! Just make sure to arrive on time so we can start the workshop with the whole group, and plan to stay for the full 3 hours.
