This workshop is not reserved to UAntwerp members, anyone is free to join. Want to help tackle climate change but don’t have the time to become a climate scientist? In just 3 hours, the collaborative Climate Fresk workshop will teach you the fundamental science behind climate change and empower you to take action. The Climate Fresk is a 3h collaborative workshop to understand the science behind Climate Change. In teams of 4 to 7, participants play with 42 cards drawn from IPCC reports and use the group's collective intelligence to organize the cards from causes to consequences, drawing a map (Fresco) of the inner working of Climate Change. After this 1h30 play session, each team will cool off through creative expression around the Fresk and assimilate the learnt notions. The workshop concludes with an hour of guided discussion around each participant's emotional response, and a brainstorm of individual and collective solutions.
